SCHLAGLE BAND BIO
The F. L. Schlagle Marching Stallions, under the direction of Reginald L. May, a graduate of Florida A & M University, and assistant, Gary E. Thomas, a graduate of the University of Missouri, Kansas City, are one of the most active and visible bands in the greater metropolitan area. The Marching Stallions are known for its high-step southern style marching and high-energy performances. The band prides itself by living up to the following band motto:

• Cabela’s- World’s Foremost Outfitter Grand Opening At the Midwest Thunderfest for the NASCAR Winston Cup Race, the Marching Stallions performed music that was both memorable and exciting,their musical repertoire consist of music from the 70's to today. Although performing on stage limited their space for movement, they performed with the same amount of energy they would if they were marching. The band has received many honors, awards, and opportunities for exposure for their willingness to be a partner in the community. Approximately 100 students participate in the marching band. Members of the band are among F. L. Schlagle High School students whom achieve national and local academic honors. |
